Very small ice free patches on the main bodies of pool2 & joes pond
drake Rudworth clinging on, @200HGulls on the ice.
40 Teal roosting on joes - flying out to night feed on becks at night.
Very very quiet - we saw more birds in the Town park, than we did on the whole of the rest of the walk across via the Coalfield Way.
Bumped into DC - making his token annual visit to the reserve
White Hill Woods
Still a large flock at new plantation feeding on Rape.
2,000 Linnet,100 Goldfinch,70 Chaffinch,200 Skylark,20 Reed Bunting,5 Brambling,12 Grey Partridge. Also male Merlin,2 Kestrel,2 Sparrowhawk making kills. (D.C)
