Off Patch - Town Centre Lapwings

Mistle Thrush alarm clock much more strident than of late due to the days wind - had them singing in a few spots today.

Car journey found me in a very busy central Gateshead, at the Baltic Business quarter - not much scope for birds here ?

Very surprised to find a pair of Lapwings holding territory within a few hundred yards of The Millenium Bridge / The Sage.

It'll certainly be interesting to see if they attempt to nest there.
