10 Mar - Spring Migrants

Had to knock on a few doors up the dale

Nice start with a roadside Buzzard at edge of patch.

Through there was sheer Bliss - in places not a man made sound to be heard.

Managed Green Woodpecker, Grey Partridge, Buzzards, Grey Wagtail, Goosanders etc.

After dinnertime moved off to do a bit spotting & jammed in on a Superb adult male Hen Harrier !

GC's git wassai Lapwing ! ;-)

Rang it straight in to Mr Olley, before savouring it for next hour or so.
(glad i didnt listen to my phone message . . . - i can claim this as a self found ! - cant i . . . ?)

The fone buzzed again with a txt - a drake Shoveller on the patch - the first this year.

The suns shining & things are certainly warming up.
