a brief stint spent watching a small wader

We were gonna walk through Lamesley, but our soles ( or is that souls ? ) are still bruised . . .

Chance of a Long Toed Stint . . . !

A image showing what the Lamesley bird could have looked like . . ;-)

( Long Toed Stint image above photographed in La.....

sorry a land far, far away.

It (not the above) had somehow managed to methamorph from Temmincks to Little Stint via LTS during the day . . .

Curiosity killed the cat

So up the Mway for 10mins.
No sooner had we embarked from the comfort of the Transit cab, when "it" took one look at Coln's stick & it fled calling over our heads.

Certainly didnt sound lika Little Stint on call - but Little Stint it seems to be.

That'll do me fine - nice year tick !

Good craic on way through with the other 2 Hetton / Houghton OFFH Bird Racers.

Anyways, theres Far more important matters at hand, like what are we gonna do next year to make up for local extinction of Ruddy Duck

Whose been to check Spuggys Flash lately . . . ?

further food for thought in that its apparently the same distance from Seaton to Hendon, as it is to Hawthorn Dene . . .

AT LAST a cast iron guarentee of OFFH Marsh Tit !

The only LTS we've had this month is our recent Long Tiresome Slog !!!

Anyone fancy foot-slogging it over to Beidaihe ?
