Thats Papp's for ya / DBC Castle Lake

Yet another bird photographer in action !

This guy managed some great shots of the ducks arses as they flew off.

Luckily for us most of the birds circled & relanded at the far end & the Coot quickly scrambled back to its nest.

the female Pintail again - quite the oppisite to last time - it never stayed still

A Ruff (most likely a Reeve, judging size from the Green Sand alongside)
other birds included 2 each of Green & Common Sand, 3Snipe, 6+juvYellow Wag, couple of Corn Bunts singing
Nice to bump into Mr Jones

After a flying tree cutting mission this morning, it was on to Castle Lake for a spot of Lunch in the hide

A productive hour, with Greenshank, 4+Green Sand, 10Snipe, 1adRinged Plover, 6 + LRP,

an increase up to 23 adult  Dabchick with a pair starting a nest amongst the weed hanging from previously submerged barb wire, Corn bunt singing, 3 juv Yellow Wagtail,
