Yet another bird photographer in action !
This guy managed some great shots of the ducks arses as they flew off.
Luckily for us most of the birds circled & relanded at the far end & the Coot quickly scrambled back to its nest.
the female Pintail again - quite the oppisite to last time - it never stayed still
A Ruff (most likely a Reeve, judging size from the Green Sand alongside)
other birds included 2 each of Green & Common Sand, 3Snipe, 6+juvYellow Wag, couple of Corn Bunts singing
Nice to bump into Mr Jones
After a flying tree cutting mission this morning, it was on to Castle Lake for a spot of Lunch in the hide
A productive hour, with Greenshank, 4+Green Sand, 10Snipe, 1adRinged Plover, 6 + LRP,
an increase up to 23 adult Dabchick with a pair starting a nest amongst the weed hanging from previously submerged barb wire, Corn bunt singing, 3 juv Yellow Wagtail,
Spotted Flycatcher again in garden west of Davisons farmyard.
