Missed a grey goose over the house this morning.
Calling the whole time, didnt recognise it, not Greylag nor a Pink
Went over WNW heading toward Houghton Gate (hopefully . . .)
Watched Mistle Thrush & Bullfinch singing at work
Got done in good time & popped to the park.
Little Owl sunning itself in an Ash
Tawnie pair enjoying a couple of rays - no sign of nesting attempt as yet.
Small Tortoishell Buterfly flickered across while watching 50 odd Golden Plover actively feeding seperate from a similar Lapwing flock on a rape field ravaged by Cushats.
Half a dozen male Lapwings were tumbling about & there were a couple of birds going through the motions of nest scraping.
