Despite checking we didnt spot these:-
they fell down out of nest as its branch tumbled down, & landed in a pile of brush wood . . .
kept them in a cardboard box for a few hours till we were done
The customer insisted on being the one to climb the top of the double extension ladder
& replace the nest (in bare feet !)
The Cushats were watching the whole time & flew in as the nest was being replaced
Despite the petrol blower going full pelt to tidy up underneath, the bird was straight back on brooding them.
